Buildup for Deonna Purrazo vs Trinity Slammiversary match

Updated: Jul 15, 2023

Since Trinity announced that she would be coming to impact wrestling I have been ecstatic to see who the bullseye would be on from the women possesses all the glow.

Immediately, Trinity made it clear that her eyes were on the Impact women’s title and essentially on The Virtuosa Deonna PURRAZZO.

Deonna is use to having a target on her back. And honestly, it seems like she welcomes it. Purrazzo made it clear that if Trinity defeat Gisele Shaw, that she would be happy to face her.

Well Trinity did beat Giselle Shaw at Under Siege on May 26 and Deonna retained her title after defeating Jordan Grace. So needless to say Deonna is feeling unstoppable right now.

So unstoppable that she in fact, that she even put her title on the line, days before she had to face Trinity in an open challenge match.

Deonna’s track record over the past three years has been that she will conquer and dominate any women’s division that she’s in.

So far, no one has really been able to knock her off of her throne.

However, Trinity has been a the top of the mountain in WWE. Defended her title on the biggest stage of them all.

So, she knows how to face off formidable opposition in high stakes moments. This women’s Heavyweight title match at Slammiversary is proving to be one where both women have some much to gain from winning. And so much more to lose.

Deonna has proven over the past few years that she is one of the best female technical wrestlers out there. Has traveled all over the world and racked up titles from several promotions to prove that she is an in ring general.

Trinity NEEDS to prove that she can be a champion everywhere and that she can head any women’s division. Wherever she goes. She wants to prove the naysayers wrong and show that she can shine whenever this wrestling journey takes her.

Despite what might transpire at Slammiversary, this match will certainly be a show stopper!

Be sure to check out Slammiversary on PPV on Fite TV on July 15 at 8:00 pm.

In the meantime, check out this awesome video package building up this main event level match!!
